As the founder and head of design, my role is to lead and build the brand Qemo into a creative visual solutions entity. The hypothesis: produce a limited range of t-shirts to gain brand culture and awareness amongst customers. The project involved the launch of 5 x designed black and white t-shirt designs marketed through social media and sold online.

Brand culture & collateral
The word/mark Qemo is a twist on the Native Indian word kemosabe used to describe a trusty friend. With friendship being the core value an Italian influenced visual language was created embracing family, loyalty, and celebration. The theme was further adopted for the push of collateral including business cards, badges, stickers, hats, and the t-shirt series photographed for product marketing.
Web Design & Build
Web design focused on delivering a brief insight into the brand culture and pushed the Season 01. photoshoot as the main traffic driver. The WordPress-built responsive designed site targeted male customers aged 18-40 with a creative eye and a love for limited t-shirt designs.
E-Commerce
The Shopkeeper plugin for WordPress was chosen to support the e-commerce site based on its responsive design flexibility and user functionality. Product thumbnail image sliders with clickable zoom, customisable drop downs and call to action buttons, accordions for t-shirt details, a “suggested products” module slider to support future product growth, and a quick two-step check-out process.
